MPDV, has been a leading SAP - Complementary Software Partner since 1994 and today maintains far more than 200 major HYDRA implementations in the SAP environment. MPDV helps you to make best use of those HYDRA modules that are relevant to you, in interaction with your SAP functions, thereby closing the gap between production processes and the management level.
For the data exchange with the modules SAP-HR and SAP-PP, HYDRA uses the certified communication channels KK1 (PDC-CC1), KK2 (PDC-CC2), PP-PDC and HR-PDC. MPDV has been the first SAP-software partner worldwide, to receive the certification by SAP for these standardized interfaces in 2001.
Moreover, the SAP-Competence Center at MPDV maintains a close cooperation with SAP with further developments and innovations, including permanent data connection between MPDV headquarters and the worldwide SAP headquarters in Waldorf, just about 40km away.
Furthermore, HYDRA easily interfaces with other SAP modules:
with MM (Material Management) via the MOB interface, with QM (Quality Management) on the basis of QM-IDI, with PM (Maintenance) via the communication channel 3, with PS (Project System) via the communication channel 4, with CO (Controlling) and with PP-PI, the planning module for process industries.
To support the state-of-the-art SAP NetWeaver Technology, MPDV is proud to be the first German MES-Partner having received the certification “Powered by SAP NetWeaver” in 2004, which includes the certificate “Certified for SAP NetWeaver”. This is how HYDRA supports and complements mySAP ERP with a broad range of MES-functionalities: Within SAP-integrated online screens (Manufacturing Dashboards), HYDRA provides current and actual information as well as evaluations about the production environment – just within the normal SAP-environment that you are used to (SAP-GUI or Enterprise Portal). Therefore, HYDRA is a substantial part of SAP’s initiative “Adaptive Manufacturing” having the aim of closely integrating business processes with production control in order to quickly and flexibly react to fast changing market conditions ... ...
